| to have a single feed line equivalent to two 5/16" lines, you would need 5/16" o.d. line has an i.d. of 15/64 (.234"), 0.736^2in X2 = 1.473^2in. You would need a line with an i.d. of 0.469", which would be larger than a 0.5" o.d. line to handle this. That's a pretty beefy line and wouldn't fit so nicely along the framing rail along-side the other lines. It could be done, but I think using two seperate 5/16" lines will do the trick without issue. I already have the additional 5/16" line anyway. These pumps have a checkvalve just before the outlet nipple that the hose connects to, so if one were to die, the system would still be capable of providing fuel to the engine, just not as much.
